When I lived in Gautemala in the early 80's, there was a terrible civil war going on. As foriegners, we were prohibited from visiting certain areas, one of whch was the Departmento del Quiche. Now that things are much calmer, my son and I spent a few very magical days there... This door shows some age, and has a great patina, with some adobe showing in the wall.
