When I first stayed at a great little place down the hill from this door. This particular door is on the side of a church, where at night local kids come to make love and smoke maconha behind the wall. But during the day, one might walk through the church yard to the posada. It was really cold, and I stopped and noticed the door. Green and yellow are the Brazilian national colors.
